Detailed Explanation
Introduction
In some cases, users may need to have their account access revoked in Skywise Academy. This could be for a variety of reasons, such as switching departments in your organization, leaving your company, etc.
As a Team Admin/Leader, you are able to deactivate a user in Skywise Academy. It is your responsibility to ensure that only authorized people have access to Skywise Academy.
Deactivating users allows you to revoke their access and retain their training records for six years. You should never delete a user as their training records will be deleted and cannot be recovered.
- Deactivating a User
You can see which teams you are assigned to as a Team Admin/Leader by clicking the Teams tab.
REMINDER
You must be on the Team View to deactivate or reactivate a user. To do so, click the initials in the top-right corner and click the switch to team view list item.

Here will list any teams you have Team Admin/Leader privilege for.
Click the SWA Air N-Flight Planning Users list item.

Click the Johnny Doe list item.
All active users within the team displays here. You can enter in each user's profile and/or deactivate as needed.

REMINDER
When you deactivate a user, their user record is retained for six years. Afterwards, their account will be deleted from Skywise Academy and you will be unable to restore it.
Click the DeActivate User button.
- Reactivating a User

Click the People tab.
You can reactivate a user's account that has been previously deactivated. You will only be able to reinstate accounts from users that were previously a part of your team. To see a list of users available to you to reactivate, click the People tab.

All users, active or inactive, will show up here. In the Status column, you will see the status of the users' account. If you do not see a user on this list, submit a ticket in the Skywise Academy support portal.
Click the Johnny Doe list item.

Click the Activate User button.

SUCCESS
Congratulations! You have successfully deactivated and reactivated a user! The user can now login at the Skywise Academy homepage. If they are unsure of their password, they can use the Forgotten password function to reset it.
