Switching Modes 

How to toggle between learner mode and team leader/admin mode.

Toggling Between Modes

If your screen looks different to other people then it's one of the indicators that you are a team leader (or administrator). Therefore, if you want to take a course, then you need to switch into the learner mode. Conversely, if you are in the learner mode and want to configure new people or administrate the courses you have access to, then you will need to toggle back into team leader/admin mode. The pictures below give an indication of the two modes. If you are configured as a team leader/admin then when you log in you will be put into that mode, rather than the learner mode.

This is the learner mode. 

This is the team leader or team administrator mode. 

These pictures may vary slightly to what you have due to access rights and the courses or learning paths you have been assigned. 

2       Detailed Explanation 

We are starting this demonstration from the team leader/admin mode.

Interaction 1 Click the Profile dropdown button.

Interaction 2 Click the Switch to learner view menu item.

Interaction 1 Click the Continue to my dashboard button.

We are now in the learner mode. Now we will toggle back into the team leader/admin mode.
